Looking to make an impact with your work? Talk to us about your career plans, and check out our job board for NYC opportunities.

7. Donate to an effective charity

See the recommended charities listed by GiveWell, Animal Charity Evaluators, or EA Funds that can do a tremendous amount of good with your donations. Consider checking out the Giving What We Can pledge for seriously committed altruists.

8. Start or help organize a group in your community

Get involved with a university club like the ones at Columbia, NYU, or Rutgers. You can also bring EA to your workplace. Chat with us if you’re interested!

9. Join the Reading Group

We host a monthly meeting where we talk about interesting books, articles, and podcasts related to EA concepts. Join our #reading-group channel on Slack!

10. Volunteer for EA NYC

As the New York EA community grows, we’re creating new ways to get involved and support the group.
